Famous Restaurant Pancakes

I don't want to get sued, so I'm just going to say that these taste the same as a famous pancake restaurant. They're so good. I usually half this recipe too. Let us all know if you try them and any adjustments you make.

1 1/4 c. flour
1 egg
1 1/4 c. Buttermilk (1 1/4 c. milk with 1 tsp. vinegar--let sit for a few minutes)
1/4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/4 c. oil

Mix together. Flip pancakes over when bubbles appear. Cook on medium-low.

We used this recipe this weekend and they were great. You said you half this recipe be we couldn't figure out how to half an egg. It was the perfect amount for our family though as it was. Thanks for the recipe

Oh yeah--woops. I forgot to put something about that. I usually have a carton of egg whites in my fridge and I use about 2-3 tablespoons. You could also just separate the yolk and whites and choose whichever you want. I usually make eggs and cut up fruit so that's why we half it most the time. Glad you enjoyed!
